As part of our positive behaviour strategy we have adopted a house system in our school. This means that each child in our school is a member of a house. Our house names were chosen by the children. They are named after Flora McDonald, St Margaret , St Andrew and William Wallace. All known for their bravery and integrity as well as their Scottish origins and associations.
Our house captains had to apply for the job by writing about why they deserved the post and what they could do for the school. Each week children can earn points by winning house challenges, good behaviour and individual achievement. At the end of the year the winning house will be rewarded with an award for their effort.
